About Us
Scotstoun Parish Church serves the area of Scotstoun in the west end of Glasgow. The church was originally dedicated as Scotstoun United Free Church in 1906, moving into the church of Scotland and becoming Scotstoun East church in 1929. The Parish later amalgamated with those of Scotstoun West and, most recently, Whiteinch, becoming known as Scotstoun Parish Church.

Messy Church
Messy Church is a church with a difference! Do you remember being bored to death in church and Sunday School as a child? Well, forget all that because a Messy Church is NOT boring.
Messy Church is fun! It takes place, once a month, on Saturdays – not Sundays. It runs from 4 pm-6 pm. You’ll see our adverts on lamp posts throughout our community. Messy Church is not just for children – it’s for families. It’s for children of Nursery School and Primary school age. But children must bring at least one parent or adult guardian with them.
Messy Church includes Crafts, Games, a Bible story and Singing. But that’s not all. Every Messy Church meeting concludes with a simple sit-down meal in the West Hall. One thing about Messy Church is key: It’s for families. The crafts, games, story and singing are all done together as families. The meal is taken as a family, together with other families who are present. It’s a great way to meet other families in our community.
